Oh dear....

Hello all..

Well so it seems with all this time on my hands it means I have a lot of time for mishaps lol... I have never had to vac the house so much... lol... I am covered in burns from the baking... however tomorrow we are meeting Annabelle's foster carer to learn all about her - her routine, likes, dislikes etc... so I can't wait for that!!

But today is Wednesday so that means a new challenge at

Well I cannot tell you just how nervous I am right now.... 

Today is D day.... oh yes... Today is PANEL DAY!!!! So this is when they decide whether we are to be mommies to our little angel... so watch out after 1pm when we will know.....

One week to go...

Well ... our house is defiantly child proofed right now lol..

On Monday our social worker will be coming to do a H&S check of the house so we have been child proofing the house... I cannot begin to tell you the amount of times I have tried to open a cupboard and almost broke my arm lol...

Sam put the high chair together last night so it is starting to seem very real...and this weekend the cot will go up... It seems weird as we haven't been to panel yet and yet the house is ready!! But we are confident that everything has been done right and we will be getting the all important yes  - IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!!!

Yep the countdown is on... every shop we go in we gravitate to the kiddie section lol... and I am lovin it lol!!!

But - today is Wednesday so that means time for a new challenge over at MMCS

It's my last Saturday

Whoop whoop..

I am so happy to say this is my last Saturday at work for a LONG TIME yay... (well as long as panel say yes lol)

We have almost finished her room - it is decorated, curtains hung and pictures up... we have ordered the cot so that will be up soon too... so almost ready... well as ready as we can be lol...

Then will begin the sleepless night and I will wish I was back at work lol...

I am off to see the wizard.... the wonderfil Wizard of Oz!!!!!

Now let me tell you a story  lol...

I LOVE the Wizard of Oz... not just like I LOVE IT!!!!!

So much so I even have a W O O lunch box for work....lol..

So when it became a west end musical I needed to see it....

I asked for tickets for my birthday.... no....

I asked for tickets at Christmas.... no.......

Go forward a month and I am now going to see the wonderful wizard of Oz tomorrow... a labour of love???

Nope guilt lol...

'We have loads of time'... 'I will take you soon' -  became.... Annabelle will be with us in 4 weeks and I need to see it before she comes....

So we will be on the train to London now - yay!!! I will be so excitable Sam will be pretending to be asleep .... but I don't care - I am off to see the wizard lol...

Hello again..

Now the other good news I have is that due to holiday and my pending adoption leave (do you know its 3 weeks today??? lol) I break up from work on 17th Feb!!! woo hoo!!!

Now this is gonna give me 2 weeks to get ahead with all my crafting  - as long as I can tear myself away from baby clothes shopping that is lol..

However the downside to that is I am working far too hard for my liking making sure everything is upto date for however steps into my role.... so as I am on the late shift I am cramming some much deserved crafty time in this morning lol..

So over at Inky Impressions today we have a new challenge of pearls and or bling

Now it took me a while to decide which of my new Inky stamps to ink up but this one is so stinking cute I couldn't resist!!

I wanna get Funky

Good morning

Well it is all done now... Yesterday our social worker came and we completed all the paperwork and reports so they are now off to panel... yikes!!!

So now we just wait (3 weeks today peeps!!)

However we have started shopping for Annabelle now lol... we have a few clothes (just couldn't help myself lol) and some baby toiletries and all the stuff for a very girly bedroom lol...

We are going to order the cotbed this weekend, along with the highchair... I am sssoooooo excited lol!!

It is funny as we have spent 2.5 years in the adoption process on courses, training and meetings and now we are matched it moves so quickly.... after speaking with the social worker we should be meeting her around 5th March!!!! woo hoo!!!!!
