Now then... my smile was big because I was getting my little girl mid April.... imagine my total delight when I got an email yesterday from our social worker saying WE HAVE A CANCELLATION!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes we go to panel on 22nd FEB!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!

We have so much still to do lol... breath lol!!!!

This means we should get her mid March!! woo hoo!!!!

Well good morning..

I hope you are all well..

We are off looking for baby things today... yep we have more news...

Our social worker has told us that after the last meeting we are a definite match for a little girl, so all we have to wait for now is panel....my smile is so wide I cannot even tell you lol... She is 9 months and we should have her (all being well) within the next 10ish weeks... although they are looking for a cancellation - hence the reason we are shopping as it could be any time - or it could be early April... but I don't care as she is coming and that is all that counts lol!!!

We did do a sneaky shop last night - baby monitor, and 2 dresses - we couldn't help ourselves lol.. We are just sooooo excited!!!

Anyhoo's it is Saturday so that means a new challenge over at

Now if you have been over to the store recently you will know Emma has a HUGE sale on, and one of the things in the sale is brown gift bags.

Now I am a naughty crafter and I purchased some of these bags a wee while ago, but couldn't decide how to decorate them lol..

Oh my word..

I started this one and wasn't sure... however a little tweaking here and there and I think it's one of my fave ever cards...

I started wanting to make a circle card... simple???

Yep it should be - however idiot here kept forgetting to overlap one one for the join hmmm.... idiot!!

Good morning..

Well I have to say I am loving my crafty week off lol..

Although work called me yesterday and I am having to go in for 2 hours today (boo!!!! lol)

So I decided to colour up some images...

Well the Christmas season is closing in .... and next week I will be hanging my stocking up (and it's a BIG stocking!!!) ready for all my presents - well I have been a very good girl lol..

Birthday season is coming!!

Well while everyone is getting ready for Christmas I also have the Birthday season to get on with...

It all starts on 22nd Dec with Sam's Birthday, then 23rd is my sister Zoe's, My Step mom's is 27th (and she is 60 this year!!) and then on 31st December is my sister Eve's birthday...

Yep nightmare lol..

Inky fun in the snow...

So then who has had the snow???

As a kid I loved it.. we lived in a dip near the Peak District so we got snowed in all the time.. and I loved it.

But now I live in the Midlands and it hardly ever reaches us lol.. bummer.. Although as soon as it does the City comes to a standstill which is pants..

Oh my gosh..

We had such a roller coaster of a week last week.. started on Monday when LITTLE SCUMBAG (I have worse words but don't want to blog them lol) mugged me at 4.15pm on a busy street!!! Nightmare!! I got away lightly.. a phone and money so I am thanking my lucky stars really... but it really shook me up

But then we ended the week on a high as we had a social worker visit and it looks like we are being matched with a little girl!! After 2 years of questions and visits it has all paid off!!!whoop whoop... still a long way to go but it is happening!!

So I missed this weeks CES card so I made one now.. lol.. the theme is to make a card featuring a bear!!

So to start off with I was thinking flowers or snowflakes.... but I wanted to use one of my new Inky boy Christmas stamps so I thought about making my own pin....

I just used some small pearls and gems to stick with the Christmas colours and added a little present charm on the end!!

Sorry my post is late - had the dreaded lurgy and just didn't have the strength to craft lol... (now that is when I know I am ill lol)

Inky Impressions Stamps: Snow Much Fun Blog Hop

Well hello and welcome to our snow much fun blog hop..

I have to say I am a HUGE lover of inky stamps and do have a fair few lol.. however I think this is the best release EVER!!!!

And we have started to go digi... so today's project uses Marissa's sleigh ride which is a new digi image...

Now we are hopping over 2 days with projects and cards and a lucky winner will win a $25 voucher to spend in store - and you wont be disappointed!!!

I have had this frame sitting around for ages and wondered what to do with it..

So I painted in with Tim Holtz tattered rose distress paint and added some holly ribbon and berries

Well hello

Inky Moma Nicole set us all some challenges this month so the Inkettes are all working on Christmas ornaments for Nicole to use at conventions...

Now I had to do something quick as we only have 3 weeks till convention and the post takes 2 weeks to get to USA lol.. so I pottered around the craft room - cursing that I didn't have any Inky Christmas stamps (how?? why??? Stoopid girl lol)

Then it came to me...

Well I know some people put fairy's on the top of there trees so Fairy Lili was perfect!!

I went for the blue as she looks all Icy

The papers were in my scrap draw so no idea who they were by lol..

I also used some fleck stuff which is so sparkly and glimmer dust on her wings (damn the camera lol)

I have darkened it so much to try and show you the shimmer lol..

I am happy with how it turned out and may make some more now.. lol

Well hello there inkettes!!

I hope you are all well... and that you are ready for all the changes over at Inkette headquarters!!

Yep there are changes people.. We are going Weekly!! Woo hoo!!!

So there are now double the amount of inkettes with a team A and a team B

This week it is Team A's turn - and I am team A!!

So Tanya wants us to use

'Cornflour blue and brown'

So I inked up Lilli with flower (which you can get here)

Now this isn't a colour combo I have used before - But.... I will be using it again.. I loved it lol!!

The papers are basic Grey Pryus - which you can get in store

the flowers and glass gems are from wild orchid crafts

The lace and seam Binding are from Sew sweet

Well hello there..

I am busy trying to catch up at work and getting my packing done. We are off on holiday for 2 weeks on Friday so Lot's to do...

Well hello there peeps..

I hope you are all well ... I am suffering with the stinking Lurgy..have been all week boo hoo... so poorly I haven't even crafted...so thank goodness I have a pot of pre-coloured images to choose from...

Now I used Basic grey papers - life of the party which are from the store, as are the scrummy flower pins and flowers..

Banners and Bunting!!

Good morning.. I don't know how but it's my working Saturday again!!!

I am sure that when I sleep I skip weeks lol...

The only good thing about this weekend is that we are going for Fish pedicures and manicures.... (where you put your feet/hands in a bowl of fish lol).. no it's fab honest..a little weird at first but let me tell you.... its the best pedicure I have EVER had!!!!

Anyhoo's it's Saturday and that means a new challenge over at

Now as I have millions of bunting stuff you would think I would have found this challenge easy.. however it was harder lol.. I couldn't decide what to do... so I just started and this is what happened!!

Well that is what the Victorian garden papers by MME reminds me of lol..

I love them that much I almost put myself off using them lol..

So I have made a card today...

The image is a wee image by Sylvia Vett and I got it from Cuddly Buddly - however she is setting up her own digi shop I believe!! Yay as I love her images lol!!

I knew I wanted to use this little fella so the song it reminded me of is....

It's Saturday...so it's time for CES!!

Hello all...

And how are we??

I am good. I spent yesterday at Thomas land (yes again) with Sam's nice (Ruby who is 2) and Niamh (who is 4!) and now I need to sleep for a week lol..

But we had the best time.. so this card is scheduled as I am not sure I will be up this early lol..

So today over at CES the challenge is mix and match papers..

That's right you have to mix and match 2 different paper companies on your card..

Now it was quite difficult as I love to colour match and pattern match but I think I did ok in the end lol..

So the back paper is MME blink of an eye and the blue and pink spotty paper is basic grey hopskotch both are available in store!!

The image is my fave ever Hanglar Stanglar

The buttons and ribbon are so sweet of course lol..

Inky has exciting news...

Well hello inkettes..and friends..

Today we have the most wonderful news..

Inky Impressions are possibly one of my favourite stamp companies 'EVER' so I was so delighted when I started designing for them earlier in the year...

Now they do the most amazing girl images and the last release saw some animals too...

Well we are now proud to announce that they have BOY'S!!!!!!!!!

I told you it was exciting news lol..

So to celebrate we are doing an Inky hop.

I hope you are all well and safe - I live in the UK (Birmingham) and at the moment we are surrounded by rioters... It is a bit of a nightmare at the minute but we live a few miles from the city centre so am keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't spread this far..

Well hello..

I hope you are all well.. and enjoying the nice weather!! I do love the heat - but not when it is humid...

I have scheduled this post as I am taking the wedding pics to my sisters so I can show them tomorrow lol!!!

We are also taking William out for the day to Pet's corner - it has a farmy zoo kinda thing with rides etc.. I loved it as a kid so I hope he does too lol..

Anyway as it's Saturday that means a new challenge over at CES

This weeks stumped me.. My mojo ran off and hid (naughty mojo!!) and I didn't make this card until last night lol.. But I saw my new papers (I am looking at them again now lol) and I knew what I wanted - and it turned out better than I imagined lol..

So the theme is WATER.....

It can be rain...see... watering... basically anything with water....

so here is my card:

The main image is Magnolia and coloured with Copics

The fence is a CC Designs stamp (first time inked lol!!)

The grass is a Martha Stewart punch

For the sea I literally just ripped and ripped the paper and where it left white bits I glittered them so they look like waves (I hope lol)

Now the papers are scrummy new ones..
